Most Recent (12/2013) Prepared property with residual concrete pad from burned-down house two years prior, plus horse barn, for use as base of operations for Idea Man mobile office RV, also used as residence. Required finding underground service wiring and piping to minimize costs, then extensive upgrades when discovered that most existing were not in compliance with applicable codes. Over a period of three months moved shed to be "utilities central", then insulated it, installed load center, piping and water heater to support major appliances like washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, auxiliary generator for emergency power, support for hot tub in portable garage, plus welder, as well as upgraded wiring for Barn, all to NEC specs. Added handhole and conduit to save $$ while allowing maintenance of incoming underground service and Barn supply from Nat'l Grid, with disconnects for all of RV, welder, aux generator, water well, hot tub and security lighting with remote switching in RV. Added satellite internet capability to allow use of VoIP phone and streaming video, with both ethernet and WiFi interconnectivity. Water in RV is continuously recirc'd with demand-flow pumps to assure no piping freeze using onboard water tank and heaters, with insulated and heated vanity containing water faucet and hose coil for refill of tank at any time. Also added digital programmable thermostats to regulate heating/cooling in both zones of RV, with individually selectable heat by electric space heaters or propane furnace. Used universal low voltage thermostats with 12VDC relays to switch large components. Saves energy and increases comfort considerably. Fully compatible with all RV Park connectivity.
